Well, I can say now that I'm horrible at updating things. But, oh well. I've been extremely busy and have been neglecting DA for quite awhile now.
all four horses are back at my house now, due to improper care at the barn two had been staying at. They were nearly starved to death, poor things! Debating weather I should post the pictures.....(as it's been a month now since they've been back and are already looking much better now that they're back in my care!)
It's also my Senior year in high school now- I'm in my AP art class, along with an Intermediate drawing class (don't know how I got placed into the Intermediate class....most kids seem to think of me as an "overachiever"...yeah right! I don't even try! ;D ) Most of my pieces in Intermediate drawing have been...for lack of better words...."half assed", as I've had to put most of my energy into AP art, and don't have much patience left to put more hours into my other art class. (I can only sit still for so long!)
I've been trying to juggle my crazy schedule of taking care of four horses, my AP art class, friendships, and relationship with my boyfriend....plus working.
Speaking of work, it was unfortunate that last Wednesday I was "injured". (Haha, it sounds worse than what it is!) I was picking out a monster 16 hand gelding's foot, who, doesn't have very good ground manners anymore due to lack of being worked with or disciplined...and...he ripped his foot out of my hand and slammed it down onto my foot. Nooo, not the "accidentally drop his foot and he 'set' his foot down onto my toe which was in the way", I'm pretty sure he had aimed for my foot. >.> lol or not, but...still...my toes were swollen very badly and we still aren't sure if any of them are broken or not.
So lately my frustration has gone through the roof trying to get everything done with a bad foot. Thank-god it's Thanksgiving Break!
Also, once December rolls around, I'm moving my horses to my boyfriend's barn where I will get to ride on my Birthday with my best little sister, Bekah!
Plus they will be staying there December through February! ^^
